Poland is an amazing, and underrated, place. The countryside is beautiful, the cities exude character, and it’s super easy to get by as a vegetarian. I’ve been to Kraków two times now, and although the stays haven’t been as long as I want, it is easily one of my favorite cities in all of Europe. After looking through my old photos, I decided to post some of my favorites from my last trip to Kraków in October 2013. These shots are outside the normal tourist photos of the main square and beautiful cathedrals; instead, they focus on the happy little moments that I had with my boyfriend and our friend in the most random and ordinary places. It was a good weekend.
I totally agree that Poland is an amazing but underrated place. I travelled around earlier in the year and loved it; I also thought that it was a great place for vegetarians. I didn’t really like Krakow though and felt that it was actually a bit colourless – just goes to show, different opinions! BUT I did love the vegetarian restaurant there called Glonojad – have you been?
Haha yes! I actually have a post dedicated to reviewing Glonojad! It’s amazing. I went to Krakow in Summer and in Fall, and I actually preferred it in Fall. The chilly weather brings such warmth and comfort to the little hole in the wall places.
