The expression is true: time sure does fly (when you’re having fun or something like that, right?). I’ve had both good and bad days on Jeju and in Korea, in general, but overall, it’s been an incredibly positive experience. I’m now more than halfway through my teaching contract in South Korea and, to celebrate, I thought I’d share some highs from the last few months.

I think I’d live there just for the fun of saying Jeju ?
Any plans for after your contract there is up?
Loose plans so far!
Cool photos – the fire festival one is definitely my fave ?
Thanks! It was great fun.
Aw you came to Daegu, that’s where I am! Was the Buddha belly rub on Palgongsan? I’ve been meaning to do that hike. And you are SO lucky you can play beach volleyball! Makes me miss Santa Barbara where we could go out and play any time of year. Looks like an amazing half a year! ?

I just stumbled across your blog and I’m hooked. I’m curious to see what you do after Korea. I am finishing the last few months of a year here and trying to decide what to do next! I love it here, but I feel the next adventure awaits! I like the idea of hitchhiking around Europe for a while, but I’m not sure how safe it would be for a solo female – you were lucky to a have lovely man to travel with you… where can I find one? ?
Haha head for Europe and find a romantic!
